Wet Plate Collodion Workshop

A historical process using silver and light

Overview

Wet plate collodion is one of the earliest photographic processes, dating back to the 1850’s, it represented a radical move forward both technologically and in the ability to capture an image and hold it for perpetuity on glass or tin. Experience the magic of this process by watching an image appear before your eyes like a 19th Century polaroid.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and established photographers, introducing a whole new vista of creative possibilities.
